World of Warcraft Patch 3.3.3 Notes
World of Warcraft Client Patch 3.3.3 PvP The amount of Honor awarded for an Honorable Kill has been increased by 100% for characters of all levels. Since all Honor is awarded based on a conversion rate from Honorable Kills, this change will effectively double the amount of Honor received from Honorable Kills, or for completing Battleground and Wintergrasp objectives; however, the amount of experience gained from completing Battleground objectives and the amount of Honor rewarded for completing each Wintergrasp quest remain unchanged. Battlegrounds The Random Battleground system has been added! Similar to the Random Dungeon system in the Dungeon Finder, players can now queue for a random Battleground.

Intel i7-980X Reviewed: Live video of Tim unboxing and setting up the I7-980X CPU!
For your PC nuts out there, today we will be doing a special live video review of the newest, absolutely most monsterous gaming CPU on the market today:  The Intel I7-980X CPU.  This processor is the highest end desktop CPU that money can buy.  With 6 CPU cores, with a standard 3.3GHZ clockspeed, and fully overclockable, this CPU will melt your heart. How will this CPU fare for multiboxing?  Our guess is that you could run 40+ World of Warcrafts on a single PC using this processor. Previously Tim (the founder of this site as well as the owner of the Pwnboxer multiboxing software) was using the voraciously fast i7 975 Extreme Edition as his gaming CPU.  Don’t get us wrong, that processor is a beast.  However, if the 975EE is a beast, than the 980X is a solar system.  Yes, it is all that and a bag of black holes! Tonight at approx. 4pm CST, Tim will be streaming live then full unboxing of this i7-980X CPU and will be installing it into his gaming system.  You can watch this stream live here:   Justin.tv/Multiboxing

Multiboxing Videos: Team Howster Multiboxes Naxxramas
Team Howster is back again with another great video. This time he is Multiboxing Noth the Plaguebringer which allows him to accomplish the weekly raid boss quest. So he gave it a shot with his team, and guess what?  Naxx on farm?  10 man Naxx is Plaguebringer VS a 5 man team.

Video: 4x Priests 1x Paladin Multiboxing Ramparts
Tim has a new team of multiboxed World of Warcraft characters:  4x Priests  (Discipline)  1x Pally (Protection) The goal of this team is to do absolutely insane AOE damage in instance pulls while staying relatively unscathed.  Individually, a Priest using Holy Nova to DPS in an instanced would typically be laughed at while the other players click confirmation on the group kick option.  However, when four Priests are multiboxed together with a Protection Paladin, the end result is nothing less than amazing. Below is a video of the carnaged wrecked in the first Burning Crusade instance:  Ramparts Here is the general strategy and a 35 minute video:

Blizzard’s Eyonix reviews the upcoming “Mastery” system
Last week, we gave you an early look at the changes we’re making to the stat system in World of Warcraft: Cataclysm, and explained how these changes will ultimately provide players with more interesting gear choices and make stats easier to understand. Today we’d like to go into more detail about a brand-new feature that’s an integral part of this overhaul: the Mastery system, a set of new game mechanics designed to allow players to become better at what makes their chosen talent tree cool or unique. With this system, we want to accomplish three things: give players more freedom in how they allocate talent points, simplify some of the “kitchen sinky” talents that try to do too much at once, and add a new stat to high-level gear that makes you better at your chosen role.

Cataclysm Stat & System Changes
As many of you know from panels at last year’s BlizzCon and posts here on the forums since then, Cataclysm will bring about major changes to familiar character stats such as Intellect, Armor Penetration, Defense, and others, ultimately designed to make the effects of stats more easily understandable and make gear choices more interesting. As these changes will have a significant impact on how stats work and relate to one another, today we wanted to offer you a closer look at exactly what’s in store and explain some of the rationale before Cataclysm arrives. The most obvious question these changes raise is “Why are stats being changed, and why now?” As the game has matured, we’ve run into increasingly complex issues with the current stat system. Many stats are inherently confusing, and the way they interrelate can feel convoluted. Attack Power, for example, currently translates to damage, but so does Armor Penetration. Defense provides five different statistical benefits of varying utility. Mana regeneration involves understanding multiple stats and rules and often ends up being irrelevant anyway. In addition, the difference between a “good stat” for a class and a “bad stat” can be extreme. Some casters want Haste but not Crit; hunters want Armor Penetration but not Haste. There are other overarching issues, as well, such as Intellect not being very exciting for casters despite it being a core stat — and these are just a few examples.

What is multiboxing?

Multiboxing is a term used to denote one user playing multiple accounts simultaneously. Typically you will have 1 player controlling multiple characters at the same time.

For example, in World of Warcraft, 1 person may be controlling 5 Shamans at the same time.
